We want you to observe the methods our staff use, from teaching the children numbers, letters, word knowledge the interaction between the staff and the children. Also as they play indoor games, incorporating dance and exercise to help the children to develop both physical and mental awareness. Witness the transition from academic activities, to play time, to discovery, and creative time. The children are provided with a good mix of time for learning, and time for playing.
Child Care Services
We offer full day programs 3, 4, or 5 days a week, and a half-day program ending at 11:30 a.m. We also offer a before and after school program for school age children 6 to 12 years of age.
Our staff at Hollis Academy for Children is dedicated to acknowledging, encouraging, and practicing a multi-cultural environment. Through love and guidance, our staff provides opportunities for each child to explore the world around them, gain independence, realize self-esteem, demonstrate self-expression, and to experience that learning is fun!
